Municipal Support Service for European Affairs, Cooperation and Internationalization
Through this service, the Barcelona Provincial Council aims to facilitate access to international networks, cooperation projects and external funding, the planning of their international action and the promotion of European outreach activities and education for global citizenship, in order to ensure that the province's municipalities are prepared to face global challenges and take advantage of the opportunities arising from the international and European context, while guaranteeing sustainable and inclusive local development.
This service brings together all actions, initiatives and support for the municipalities and other local bodies in the territory, as well as their entities. It is organised into a Assitance Section, with a European and Transnational Projects Assistance Unit, and an Education, Outreach and Awareness raising Section, with a specific Unit dedicated to Global Citizenship Education and Outreach Unit.
