This event for local and regional governments, organized by Regione Marche and hosted by the Barcelona Provincial Council, forms part of the Gear Up project’s European networking activities. It will also kick off the European Days of Local Solidarity (EDLS) in Barcelona, a two-week campaign that invites European cities and regions to engage their citizens on the global challenges of sustainable development and the importance of collective action.

The day is designed for representatives of local and regional governments, European GCED networks and organisations, and participants of other DEAR projects interested in advancing Global Citizenship Education from a territorial perspective.

Morning sessions will include simultaneous interpretation (Catalan–English). The afternoon networking session will be held in English.
