Projects and Impact

This dossier presents the main data and results of the implementation of NextGenerationEU funds in the province of Barcelona through the corporate projects of the Barcelona Provincial Council. The institution is the Catalan provincial council that has received the highest amount of NextGenerationEU funding and ranks as the fifth local authority with the largest volume of funding obtained.

Through the Next Diba Service, more than €71 million have been mobilised by supporting 179 local projects and promoting 18 projects led directly by the Provincial Council, focused on the ecological transition, digital transformation and social cohesion of the territory.

Access the monitoring and accountability platform regarding the support that, within the framework of the Next Diba strategy, the Barcelona Provincial Council provides both to local authorities in the province and to the Council’s own managing departments in the fundraising and management of NextGenerationEU funds.
